Job Duties

• Prepare sales or other contracts
• Promote sales to existing clients
• Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances, warranties and delivery dates
• Oversee the preparation of sales and orders
• Conduct technical analysis of dish/glass machine chemical requirements and titration levels
• Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements
• Identify, target and solicit new business from potential clients
• Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend the appropriate chemical products for their facility or equipment service needs
• Troubleshoot on-site problems related to equipment
• Develop reports and proposals to illustrate the benefits of use of goods or service
• Conduct sales transactions
• Prepare and administer sales contracts
• Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
• Reach to clients after sale or signed contracts to provide ongoing support
• Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions
• Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services
• Provide timely customer service to business customers
• Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists
