Denny’s located at  11511, 40th STREET  SE CALGARY,AB T2Z 4V6 is currently recruiting for the position of Food and Beverage Server.   This is a permanent, full time/ part time job. Vacancies are for day shift, afternoon and late night shifts and includes weekends.

Job Summary

Greets customers and serves food and beverage orders in a friendly and efficient manner.

Job Functions

Prepares appetizers, desserts and beverages for customers, Greets and seats customers in the order in which they arrive and introduces feature of the day, collects payment from customers in accordance with established cash handling procedures, clears remaining items from tables; cleans and preset tables, performs cleaning and stocking duties as assigned, periodically assists other service personnel, Resolves guest complaints and notifies management of any complaints received.

Accountabilities

Customer are greeted and served food and beverages in a pleasant and courteous manner, following company service cycle and timing standards.

Qualification Standards

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada, must be 18 years of age and above, Must have Pro- serve certification,

Must be able to observe and ensure product is prepared and presented in accordance with company requirements, must have at least 6 months of experience as a server and must be able to carry food trays weighing up to 25lbs.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:

Wages:  $15.00 per hour

Benefits include: Extended medical insurance on cost sharing basis for full time employees, discounted meals at work, vacation plan in accordance with Provincial Labour Standards, Uniforms provided for the employee.
