Papa Giuseppe’s Kitchen and Catering needs two (2) Cooks who can start immediately. We are in Edmonton, Alberta.

Wage: $17.50 per hour for 30 to 44 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent; Full-Time

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Languages: English

Education: Secondary school certificate

Experience: 1 – 2 years in the food service industry

Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook seafood cuisine for buffet and individual dishes
• Prepare and cook special meals for patrons as required
• Maintain inventory and records of food (perishable and non-perishable), supplies and equipment
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Specialize in preparing and cooking seafood cuisine or special dishes
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
