Duties:

• Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
• Assist with carpentry needs including the cutting of wood to specified dimensions and drilling holes in lumbers.
• Hold wood and panel in place for fastening or cutting.
• Erect scaffolding, assist in framing, and establish reference points and lines.
• Assist in joining wooden structures with glue, screws, pegs or nails.
• Clean up job sites and assist with lifting heavy materials such as large bags of concrete.
• Smooth and sand surfaces to remove marks, glue, or ridges.
• Assist carpenter in installing wooden frames or install under supervision of carpenter.
• Perform other activities at construction site, as directed.
